thanks! Capt. can i just take the tranny in pic 2 on the v6 and install it on the motor in pic 1 the v8 will the fly wheel and the torque converter work with the v8 engine.

Irish, Do not confuse the 4L60 with the 4L60E. The non-electronic 4L60's have the same square plug (in his picture) for the lock-up, uses a TV cable & a govenor.
