Tailgate Panel

I have seen this truck with this tailgate panel oneday, while driving around the town

Where can I get like this tailgate panel ? I need your help with this one guys ...

I apologize for the size of attachments ( my mobile is going crazy & can't set it )  ???

These panels are not common down here ..
and they look similar to these on 1st generation trucks

Do U know on which model were they available ?

I got mine off of ebay.  It didn't look this good when I got it so I had to do some resto to it.  Mainly you don't want one thats dented as you can't cover it with filler.   If you want a GMC one, it will be harder to find.  You may just have to wait for one to come along.  I got this one for $35 and shipping. 

The silverado emblem on it isn't stock, I had a dent where the sun-thingy is and since I had broken one of my new fender emblems by accident I made use of the leftovers... ;D

the silverado emblem?  it's metal, and brand new so all I had to do was stick it on there.

Just so you know it is not a "rare" tailgate band as the eBay user describes. It is a Cheyenne tailgate band.

These are available aftermarket too. Perhaps Chris can get you a better deal as they are pricey!

didn't know they had the Cheyenne bands as a repop.  I thought they were only the 81-up bands?   

Just remember folks, ebay=rare  even if they're selling 1/4-20 bolts....
