A thread about your favorite iPhone apps...
« on: November 08, 2009, 06:30:37 pm »
Tell me about your neatest, or coolest iPhone apps.

So far I have only added 4 apps to my phone, but expect to add more this winter when there is time to surf for those sort of things.

What GPS apps does everybody like? The ATT iPhone GPS app is an additional $10/mo. Hooey with that. I just want a GPS for hiking/biking/hunting. I can read a paper street map, and don't see the need for a subscription GPS app.

Also, what apps are a waste of time/money?

My 13yo son had me to download "Bowman" so that he, and I can play each other. I haven't had a chance to whoop him yet, but when I do..... :D

textPlus - send and receive text messages for free

Run Keeper Pro - Excellent application for tracking workouts. Integrates very well with GPS and provides audio notification of stats (time, distance, pace, etc).

Scramble - fun word scramble game

YellowPages - has good GPS functionality

eBay - do I need to explain? :)
