ive been here a while just havent posted til now. let me just give you the brief history the first truck that started me was my dads 79 k10 4 speed 350 i love it and its the one i drive everyday until her time when a posi 12 bolt and a built 355 go into her. anyways my truck im working on is an 1986 chevy k10 custom deluxe, im going to convert her to full power after its painted and close to completion. its a shortbed with a 12 bolt 3.08 limited slip with a matched 10 bolt up front. the drivetrain is a 350( how it came when i bought it. 87-95 350 with an edelbrock performer rpm painted and did the letters on it black and a carter 4 barrel. the transmission is a t 350 when i got it the tailhousing was split all the way around but i drove it home like that but 50 dollars and tig weld laater its fixed. the transfercase is a 208 and the po had a 4 inch super lift installed and manifold back true duals. it was rolled in a ditch but a craigslist find led me to a straight cab with mcab corner rust it was a complete cab interior and doors. also get nos fenders and doors for 150 another great craigslist find! well the frames painted and so is tyhe entire drive train just havent had time to put them on the frame. the shocks were like new so i freshened them up got new mounts for the motor and transmission. its been hard work but if you can tell by the amount of detail i love doing it and i hope to have it by senior prom to take my girlffriend in even tho shes a ford girl i still love her.
btw i bought this truck on the side of the road covered in fluvanna red clay for 700 dollars in september drove by it on the first day of school and about crashed!

Good looking truck, you got a real good deal. If that truck won't make your girl switch to Chevys, she's too far gone!
