Thanks for having me.. Hope to learn and help when I can... I have had a few other Chevy trucks & cars in the past.... Anyway Here I am.... Let the fun start..
Any other members from WA here? Any good clubs in WA?

Hey I've been to Forks, you're fairly isolated. Good place for hauling shakes out of.

Yep, Sure is.. I use to haul logs/shakes and other wood products... But I was hurt when a angry tree hit me a few years ago now I am in a wheelchair so I have time to work on my new toy... I found a 87 Chevy short box about 12-13 years ago that friend of mine owned since it was new... I bugged him for 12 years.. He told me when he retires he would sell it to me.. So last Friday he calls me from Port Angeles and says " I am done working.. So bring me $1200.00 and drive it home.. The inside is near new.. He put a crate motor in it about 3-4 years ago along with a cheap paint job... When it was about a year old he put a fiberglass bed cover on it and its been on ever since.. I only have 2 small spots that need to be taken care of.. One is the drivers side cab at the back bottom where it meets the bed.. The other is the passenger side tail light has a bit of rust around it.. So its a real good project tuck..
I want drop it about 4/6 and put a step-side bed on it.. The wife has picked out a real dark maroon color with metal flake.. So It will take some time but I have all the time in the world to work on it.. I will get some pictures up of it when the rain stops..
Thanks all for the warm welcome.. I plan on sticking around a while..
