Chris, looking great buddy!  I agree, angle it more towards the driver.  The next review should come once they build a triple, and how the spacing looks between the pods.

They should be printing the second Proof after the angle change as of today.

I actually picked this up last minute on Friday.  What I was hoping to accomplish with this one was to get the angle of the face right, think we nailed it and add some thickness to the body to pan out any limitations.  I also put a "wish" list to smooth out some of the areas and to get the fit on the pillar face a bit tighter.  I think the added thickness cause it to fit not as good as the original thinner piece, so we are working on that this time.  I also put this one in the truck and slid the seat all the way back and looked and then all the way forward to compare the "silohette" you see.  I try to make them all pretty close but being perspective, you won't be albe to make all of them fully disappear.
Well you can, but we may be spending forever as if you are my height it will be fine, but shorter, and well...  That being said I am wanting to tweak it down just a bit.  Once we get this down, I am hoping to get to the triple.  As I comparison, I took a picture of the original POc (no gauge) just stuck up there with the POC2.

This I just put up there for a perspective.  you can really see the difference in the agle on them here.


NOW, the big question.  should I expect people to drill a hole in the pillar piece or put a "bump" on the backside to pass the tube/wiring behind it?  I am leaning on the bump as it would cover the inside gasket and let the sending pieces hide.  The company making them said the have some glue that if customers wanted them to NEVER come off they could point me in that direction also.  Other options for connecting is the two sided tape and the Christmas tree tabs.

I like the angle much more than the first prototype.  Its about dang time we get some pillar guages for our trucks. I'm very excited for the triple for my cummins conversion. Not trying to be pushy but when should we expect the triple?

I took it back to them this morning to go over the changes.  I honestly don't have a date on the triple and would rather not put it out there right now.

Bump would be my preference, but i will drill if necessary.  Glad to see you making progress on this.  Newer version looks great.  Hope you can get the fit a bit "tighter" at the top.
