As long as its no jap/china man car

I was shocked when I read in Hemmings Motornews that the 2010 Nissan Altima used the most American labor and the most American made parts of any car produced that year.
It's not so easy anymore to say that 1 car is American and another car is foreign.

Anything that says "made in the USA" usually means "assembled mostly in the USA" although off topic here it's pretty funny when you can see clearly there is no genuine made in the USA anything anymore. I hate when people say buy American. What does that mean? American cheese?

Yeah the big three have been manufacturing in Canada, and Mexico for years.

Its not that they are bad cars but I would much rather support America then them. And got to love American muscle. If it has power then I love it

Check the time and effort this dude took into smoothing his visor in. All that work though just for it to crack eventually.

Razorbacks.....man, that brings back high school memories for me (early 90's). 73-87's, 88-ups and S-10s all around town with those things, let alone the Fords and Dodges. The slotted aluminum box rails, ground effects that were ALWAYS wavy and ill-fitting, and usually not on lowered trucks making them look double-goofy. Oh yes, thems were the days. I wanted a Choochoo Customs body kit REALLY bad for my 81 2wd Jimmy. Almost had the cash saved for it too when I traded it in on an 88 Mustang GT :)  It was a truck kit though so I would have had to trim and blend it to make it work on my Jimmy. I tried looking for a web site for them but it appears they do not have one :(  The kit was pretty clean looking actually!
85 Chevy Silverado C10 short, wide, yellow, 2wd. Lowered, 60-over 350 with Dart Iron Eagle heads and Comp Cams XE268 cam, TH350 w/ shift kit, 3.40 Gov-lok 12 bolt.

Let me stir things up...I love these old CK trucks...but I know I'm fixing junk by todays standards. I drive Chev's and Fords at work and they are crap cans, especially the F150's. At least the Silverados have go to them. If I had to buy a new truck, it would hands down be a Toyota. Second to that, it would be a Nissan. Better engineering and quality. And as far as I know Non-union made. Unions have done nothing but driven costs up and made people lazy in both our countries. On top of that, the big 3's CEO's slash quality for profit (in thier pockets)...its a sell out. Corporate greed...where's the dedication? It became about lining thier own pockets, selling us substandard products and then admitting it when they are begging for a bailout. Dont get me started about Walmart, dollar stores and all the other big box stores that implemented the need to import from overseas....consumers brought this on.

As for the visor, my truck is going retro. Maybe a wrangler paint scheme. Fads come and go, classic is timeless.

ssshhheeeeewwweee, that's one ugly molded in visor. I hate the little curvy ones. I love his hood, but hate the chop top, imo chop top looks funny on these trucks I don't like it at all.

If I were to buy a brand new truck it would be the new GMC baby. The Toyota isn't too bad but they ride like a bucket of bolts and are plagued with their own issues as well.

I don't know how many of you guys keep up with NASCAR, but when they allowed Toyota in a couple or three years ago, a lot of people started moaning and complaining about Jap cars and it should stay the Big 3, it was un-American and all that. Turns out the Toyos are the most Ameican built car on the track. They build all the Camrys in Kentucky! Anyway, why would you want to put a visor on a go-fast truck anyway?

IMO visors have a place, like others have said not on a go fast truck. I think visors look cool on a 3/4 or 1 ton made for hauling and pulling but if you have the visor you gotta have the cab lights too. It makes the truck look like a mini big rig.

I HATE cab lights imo they are the ugliest thing ever, leave em on a big rig. I don't care for the lighted visors, I painted my lens black on mine to match the truck.
