signs of a bad sending unit
« on: July 09, 2010, 06:55:24 pm »
i have a quick question about the sending unit. i switched tanks awhile ago on my 77 crew cab, but didn't put in a new sending unit. it's been working fine but now it is pegged to the right, even on almost empty. does that mean the sending unit is bad or something else. thanks for any info.
87 Chevy crewcab shortbed soon to have a 454/400

Check the wire at the sending unit. If it's connected, disconnect it and ground it with the key on. Report what happens.
