OMG WTH 67-72chevytrucks.com infractions and violations

First off man I can't beleive how stupid this is and how much BS.

Let me start by telling the first part/back story,

a few years ago this guy had his thread about his truck showing pics and such and had a cowl hood on an 81-87 and was talking of ditching it for a stocker. I told him shoot man you want a stock hood we got one on the 84 and would love a cowl.

Well I got a posting violation said to keep that junk in the for sale section. Which is and was total BS. I can barely afford parts much less a subscription, if I could afford it, it'd go to this site, yea they may have a larger section and junk and even an 88-98 section but I'm usually only there for 73-87's and maybe 88-98 sometimes. Plus not getting answers and gettng violations and crap no way would I pay for it.

Ok now on to todays newest updates and such...

I've seen a couple of threads recently where one guy would say oh I'll trade ya my stuff for yours or if you take it off I'd buy it.

Well I gave the guys a heads up, I said you had better watch saying that you'll get a posting violation because I did for the same reason.

Well then I had that I was looking for a longer driveshaft in my sig, it got removed and got a letter saying it had to be in the wanted section and paid subscription. Well I took it lightly and said well I didn't know I couldn't say what I wanted to in my sig, if it's a problem I'll delete it, but they already did.

Well the last post and one I got a violation/infraction for 2 points was about power to manual brakes, same deal guy wanted manual and had power was going to switch and another had manual and wanted power, they were talking of switching, and again I warned them. Well I get on there today and find this pm...

As for the OP

I understand wanting it cleaned up, hydroboost you got lines going here and there and a vac. can is only good for so long LOL, Might run out in traffic if you have to use em enough. Plus you need lines going to it, and with that thing being taller you need to booster out of the way for sure. Not to mention how much more room you have with manual brakes. if you got a truck with no ac and no power brakes and got a v8 man it looks like a v-twin in there.

A big block would help fill it up nicely though. Alot of the bigblocks I've seen with power brakes or aftermarket valve covers man they look tight and stuffed in there.

You tell me where the heck did I insult anyone in that? and by the gotta do what you gotta do n2trux or whatever was talking about paid subscriptions and cleaning the thread up by removing my warning and him talking about it. Man am I pissed and bet I get banned, I sent a pm back very pissed. I mean come on I just think that was stupid, now if I callleed em nazi's yea that'd be an insult but I didn't say ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!

I told em flat out I want to know if everyone else got violations and if not why the fridge they did not. I said not just idiots calling you names but the ones talking of swapping parts because I got one before and if they did not I was going to seek further action because it's BS for me to get a violation on trading stuff and them to do the same and not get it.

I dont wanna jump into this really, but next time u wanna trade stuff, send the person a PM.  Basically all they will let you get away with in a thread with no subscription, is giving parts away free, one way, not trades.   PMs should be safe though.  When I was buying stuff and trading stuff a while back, I just bought the subscriptions, at that site and this one.

I didn't think that what you said was offensive, and the 'citation' was probably not necessary. Be careful though, I think when you lose 10 points they take away your birthday.

They probably went a little overboard, but at the same time I completely agree with anybody that is providing a service and wanting to be compensated for it. Just like here, Capt is providing a medium to buy, sell, or trade that we wouldn't have if not for him and his site. It is only right then that he be paid for it. It's just like going to a gun show, or those travelling shows that sell all the cheap stereo and tv stuff. Yes you have to pay to get in but you might find some deals that more than cover the initial buy in cost.

Guess they didn't like me telling them how stupid I thought it was giving me a violation when I never insulted anyone. I guess they didn't like me calling their bluff and saying something to them about me getting treated unfair and crap. I don't care they can ban me I can take my info and knowledge elsewhere like here. I never get my questions answered on there anyways.

I just think it's BS, and now I got banned how stupid. I'll end up baned again because once it's liufted they'll be told by me again how much BS I think it is.


I definately understand the fees, as I said if somebody comes on here for the sole purpose of selling stuff and making money then by all means they should have to pay, I'd charge per post probably. As for somebody looking for this or that every now and then and can't find it local or need a lower price I'd cut em a break, but somebody buying every part to build their truck is another story, I'd charge em too. There's no way to know who's who though so you guys do the best and only thing you can do.

I tell ya this much I'd never support a site that gave me violations or banned unles I done something that called for it.

I would completely understand if I called Liz something or some other mod/admin personel. Be like me calling capt. something, you know it's just dumb and I'd understand but you guys seen what I wrote and there was no insult now I get banned. They're gonna hear it again once it's off. asking why I got banned when I never insulted anyone and told them if they can prove I insulted anyone I'd gladly appologize and admit to when. I asked why they had said it when I did no such thing and if anyone else got banned or infractions over this BS and I got nothing again.

It's like they are doing everything they can to avoid answering my questions. That's stupid I do not like to be accused or soemthing I did not do and I will fight tooth and nail to defend myself when I know I did not do what someone claims or accuses me of. I will not stop either until my questions are answered.

Keep in mind the rules here are pretty much the same there, and the members are the same also.  Therefore if you put in your sig something is for sale, advertising for another company etc, I will delete it.   If you put it back you get a warning NOT to and I delete it again.  Third time you spend some away time from the board.  Doesn't matter what you do.

I don't know what all was said, but something you said pushed the limit of how much the moderator/admin was willing to put up with.
SEVERAL people that were banned here took the attitude that they were the ones that were right and I was in the wrong, you don't see them here anymore.  It is my site that I am providing for free, all that is required of users is to follow the rules that you have to accept and you can stay here free..

If I gave everyone free entry into Disneyland for life, and all you had to do was follow my rules, a) would you even look at the rules, or just go in, b) if you looked at the rules and thought those are stupid, would you break them and when you did, would you keep going and start talking trash about me and expect me to let you stay in or would you expect to be kicked out?

email the admin and ask them to review it and ask for reconsideration to let you back in.  From an admin perspective looking at your post, assume you are wrong and find out what it is.  You will get MUCH further.  Complaining in a public forum about a PM you were sent is asking to be banned.

BTW, many of the admins/moderators are on this site also.

capt. I know what you are saying and I know there are rules and I follow them, only thing I ever done was have that in my sig and I NEVER put it back in once it was removed. The infraction that i got is what set me off I did not nor have i EVER insulted a board member let alone staff over there.

Yea I sent an angry pm back to whoever sent it to me but it was not liz it was someone else, and it was wrong because I never insulted anyone. I know me being pissed and sending a pm back got me banned that's not the problem. I just want my question answered and for them to prove that I insulted someone. Calling someone a name is an insult or talking bad about them, you can see exactly what I said in my first post here, how is that an insult? I don't care if I get banned because I know it was over the angry pm back to them after I got the infraction but I still want answers as to how or why they said I insulted anyone I want that fact proved, and I want to know if the other guys got anything esp. the nazi comment guy, and the 2 talking of trading parts if they got a violation because I did a couple years ago.

I absolutely do not think it's right if I got a violation of talk or trading and they did the exact same and got nothing, that is unfair.

But it's not much of a concern for me now I want to know how I insulted someone and got this junk going, somebody stretchng the truth or facts and got this started and I want to know who and who said what. I know what I said and what I've done and it's not an insult period.

a while ago I was posting videos about things I thought were funny and some other people on here did too but all it took was one person to say it insulted them in some way and it got removed. Lesson of this is you may not see the wrong but someone did, I stopped posting videos well most of the "drunk" ones lol

This doesn't involve me, but I'll give you an outsider's point of view.  You posted something for sale that was against the rules.  You put it in your sig. which appears to be you trying to sneak around the rules.  At this point it was between you and the admin.  You should have kept it that way.  When you started saying how mad the administrators made you in front of the whole audience, that's sort of insulting.  Maybe they're being a little sensitive, but you don't really think that you did nothing at all wrong do you?  If you like that forum you should cool off and try to forget about it.  Hash it out in an e-mail with the administrators, not in front of the whole forum.  Don't e-mail until you've cooled down--your emotions might get the better of you.  Good luck.

I agree, if you like their forum respect their rules. I catch people on here all the time trying to get around the classifieds rules by posting in their sig or posting what do you think my truck is worth when it's obvious it's an attempt at advertising it. I will remove it once with a warning. Next time time you go bye bye. So when you violate their forum rules and then argue with them about it whether you believe you are right or wrong you're already fighting a losing battle. If you ever plan to go back there I would cool it and apologize for violating the rules.

I could understand if he was trying to sell somehing but he was looking for a driveshaft. Granted its still against the rules but you do kind of need a shaft to even get your truck going

guys guys guys you are all missing this. it's nothing to do with my sig or driveshafts that was said and done with. Nobody ever said or done anything about that.

This was all started about the guys swapping parts and I said to watch out because you are not supposed to and will get a violation for it as I did. Nothing to do with driveshaft and such. Then I got an infraction on that, and got mad and asked what the crap happened and why and that's what this is all about as I said I don't care about a ban, but I want to know how they come off with an insult to the staff it's BS.

I tried talking to the admin she's well I won't say it but doesn't give a rats crap about it at all. She never once said anything other then some bs I posted about cool down when I only asked why I got banned and infractions when I did nothing and to explain it. Then I get one back saying ohh you can kiss it, and just told you I'd look into it when the email said not one word about looking into it and I got both emails to prove it.

I just wrote her hateful sounding butt back and told her she never said one word about looking into it, and said kiss it? how can I ban you or give you an infraction? you just insulted me. Telling someone that is rude and an insult what I said was nothing. I'm just getting tires of the BS unfair treatment and no one going to answer my questions about it.


As for the driveshaft which HAS NOTHING to do with this I had looking for one that's it, not selling one, nothing. Not to mention I had it in my sig here as well and other forums.
