dana 44 6 to 8 lug

i have a dana 44 that is a 6 lug and i would like to do the 8 lug swap. does anyone no what all i need and where i can get it? and will A dana 60 out of a dodge work in my 76

I would grab a Dana 60 front and rear out of a dodge I think it would be cheaper for one and two after you change the front to 8 lugs then you have to change the rear to 8 or change out the whole rear. The 60 from what I was told by someone on here was its a little smaller width between the perches but it will fit just kind of squeezes the leafs inward

regardless if he swaps a 60 in or converts his 44 he will still have to swap rearends for the 8 lug pettern.
In order to swap it over to 8 lug you will need everything from the knuckle / ball joints out from an 8 lug Dana 44. it will all bolt directly on to your knuckles.
If it was me I would swap in the 60 from the Dodge.

i already have a 14bolt with a locker so im not worryed about that. but will a dodge bolt up?
