Newbie from Pa
« on: September 30, 2010, 06:20:43 pm »
Well Im from Pa, just outside of Philly and Im new to this board.  Just wanted to say Hi, I just got an 85 Custom Deluxe for free thats been sitting in the weeds for the good part of the last ten years with a bad Tranny.  The truck is nothing special 305/350/2wd combo, but the body is very clean and straight and only has 87k on her.  She is by far nothing special and when I get a chance I will post some pics.  Hopefully with a little luck and some good junkyard hunting I can upgrade her to Scottsdale or Silverado trim status.  She is basically being built to tow my Plymouth Duster 340 to national car show events within the neigboring states.  Like I said she is definitly nothing special, I dont think this truck has a single option on it, but the price is right and after sitting since September 2001 all I had to do was put some fluids in her a battery, gas and some oil down the cylinders and she fired right up  and ran really really good.

So here goes nothin....we will see how she turns out?!?!?!!

Thanks
Gregg
