sub install
« on: November 11, 2010, 08:40:03 pm »
I hope this is going to work. I bought a box that holds a 12" shallow sub. When I installed it behind the seat it was hitting the seat and not letting it go back all the way. When your 6'4 you need all the room you can get. So I broke out the grinder ad i cut out a section of metal on the section that there is a hump on just under the window. Now my box is recessed in the backby about an 1.5". looks pretty good. Still have to make up some braces and do some fab work yet but i think it is going to look alright. you be suprised at how much room I gained by cutting this section out. I caut out a section 27" long. I would post pic but I am never able to figure it out no matter how many times you guys explain it.
