Sensors on the head

Working on my 454. In the middle of the side of each head, just above the exhaust manifold, there is a sensor with a wire going to it. One of mine is broken off. Can anyone tell me what it is? I meant to take a pic, but forgot. Sorry.

should be temp sensors.....one for the guage and the other for aux fan?
