Snow? What snow!  ;D

We had between 4" and 24" inches across the UK and we came to a stand still. People that haven't seen snow/ice that bad haven't a clue how to drive in it.

Thankully it went as quickly as it came and it's back to normal > rain!!

The cold to hot change cracked the windshield in my car.  It was like 6 degrees in the night and went up to almost 60 that day.  So where I had a rock chip started a crack.  It get about a 1/2" longer every couple of days..... :P

i had something similar happen last year when we got a storm of 32in of snow. i started my yukon then began to clean it off and some snow was still packed at the bottom of the windshield and i guess the heat/cold caused it to crack all the way across i was not happy.

Found when I called the glass places...  yes place(s)..  there's a 2 to 3 week work wait...  apparently it got a LOT of cars.   I'm on the list.   I knew there was a reason the truck stayed in the garage and the focus stayed out in the weather.... ;D  On the bright side, the focus' windshield was all scrtached and pitted anyway and I had debated getting a new windshield in it before this, guess now my minds made up.  When I get a new glass, I'm going to drive towards the sunlight and be one of the few people to still be able to see good... ;D

This is what we got after a little snow the other day. It wasn't the coldest part of the morning but it was still -27. -34 was the lowest that morning.

lol I felt like a professional with my camera phone. If I saw something I would turn the truck sideways in the road just to take a picture.

Hey Thirsty - if it got that low I'd have to hibernate!!

That's why we have got to have heated garages with a project or two going on here.

I'm in Moncton, NewBrunswick, Canada.      We got 5 feet on the ground now & seem to get 25 to 35 cm. every week.
Most of the snow banks are 6 to 10 feet high.

Another 35 cm.'s coming this wed./ Thurs. from Texas direction. That's really odd. This one will be interesting.

Hey thirsty, I like the snow but man that is too cold.  I remember once in Iowa that it was -40 with the wind chill and I swear I threw my internal heater off that winter.
