carb decision

Alright I'm running a edelbrock 1406 carb on my truck now and have used this type of carb for a couple of years now and overall happy with them but lately I've been debating on buying a rebuilt qjet or rebuilding one I have on the shelf for my truck. My edelbrock is in need for a rebuild now that's mainly why I'm debating and my first car had a ccqjet and I never had a bit of trouble with it and the car got very good fuel mileage imo. So what do you guys think. My setup is pretty mild 350 bored 040 9:4.1cr 214/224 .442/.465 112 cam long tubes rpm intake th350 trans 3.42s 2800 converter and its a 4x4.

Mmm they look nice! :) the only thing is I have a square bore intake I have an adapter but I hate to use it then again I'd hate to swap intakes again lol. I already have the kit for my edelbrock to rebuild it I may go ahead and do it and come summer decide for sure if I will upgrade back to a qjet! :) I will still contuinue to take opinions! :)

  The edelbrock carb. is very easy to rebuild, I just did mine, the rebuild kit cost $33.00 and it took me most of a saturday (with dip cleaning involved).

thats one thing i do like about the edelbrocks is the ease of workiing on them. i had mine apart a few years ago when i ha it on one of my cars and thought it was easy to work on.
