I am thinking about puttin in a richmond lock right locker in the front diff of my blazer with a gm 10 bolt diff. I have been doing some research and some people say it will work others say your u joints wont take it and you might as well spend the money and buy an elctric locker. what are your opinions? o and it does have manual locking hubs if that makes a diffrence

With manual hubs, you will be fine since the shafts wont turn on the street, just remember to unlock them when your on pavement. A air or electric locker is great for the rear, but really not necessary for the front. Plus you have extra wiring that can get snagged up on something while wheeling.
What kind of wheeling will you do?
What size tires will you run?

Sounds like it will be overkill to me, but if you have never had a locker in the front of any vehicle it's good experience. Just doesn't sound like you will be wheeling hard enough to need a locker.

I haven't pulled the trigger quite yet so I can't tell you how it turns out, but this might give you some perspectives on it...

I'd suggest you a Eaton Truetrac for the front of your Blazer.Your u-joints and shafts will thank you afterwards.
