Had medium-dark tint on my Dodge Mega-Cab and I couldn't see out at night worth a crap.  Not sure I'd do it again as dark.  I've always taken my rigs to a shop.  Seemed like something I didn't want to do myself and I normally do everything myself.

If you want 0% just paint them black on the inside.  same thing.   also if you ever want to remove the paint, paint scrapes off WAY easier than tint glue.

never heard of 0% tint, thought it stopped at 2%.

I had 2% on everything in my old buick, including half the windshield.  it was dangerous at night, seeing as i didnt have power windows. and you couldnt make a turn with them up.  it was nice and cool during the day though, like a cave.

I could also see a cop taking your vehicle for something like 0%.

They cut my tint a couple of times with my 2%.  they just basically mess it up so you have to remove it here in GA,

I gotta question regarding tinting.  My Burb has the rear window defrost, can I get those windows tinted to match the quarter windows or can tint not be applied to defrost windows?  Not trying to be cool or anything, just don't want people to be able to see whats in the back, antitheft. well since defrosters are there to make it easier to see out the back and tint is there to make it harder to see out the back lol they kind of work against each other. but like most cars that have tint on the back window most of them now days have defrosters. i just wouldnt use them cause it would be defeating the purpose of having tint

Mind you there is a legal limit, here in WV it's 35%, but on trucks you ca black out the rear window if you want. but your sides and windshield can't go beyond 35%. :) I'm going to install my own tint this winter, I've done it on all my cars I owned. Both Autoadvannapfish parts store kind and Pro quality. the key is take your time and make sure you cut it right!

yes, you can tint on windows with defrosters. just time consuming.    and correct, at least here in ohio, on a 4 door truck or suv, you can tint the rear doors and the hatch or back window as dark as you want. as someone mentioned, ive seen them spray painted black.

Anyone used nightshade tint on a window?  I know several used it on taillights and markers.  How hard is it to avoid tiger stripes out of a spray can?  I was thinking that would work better than stick on tint.
