I can tell you the TH350 installed in my 1985 C10 is the same length as the 700R4 I removed from a 1987 C10 I parted out...Not relevant to the question but if someone has a 3 speed column shift manual transmission and wants to make it an automatic, a short tail shaft TH350 will go in its place using the same driveshaft.
Well I got up under the truck and measured the tail and its the 9 inch so I'm good I guess:) so now I'm in for a 700r4
