« on: September 27, 2012, 10:25:21 PM »
Ok so i bought this rust bucket for a $1000. The woman of course screeming the whole time tellin me no. But many of u are like me and have a love for the squarebodys that most dont understand. I drove it to my dads 45 minutes away to start workin on it because one he has the space and two he has every tool known to man. I can only work on it on the weekends due to work and school. But making good progress. I will post info and pics as i along in the build. Heres the before stats:

77 k20 body on a 82 k20 frame
350
4speed from a 72 chevy. Sm465.
Not sure about the transfer case. To dirty to tell.
14 bolt rear and dana 40 front both with 410 gears.
Truck had no bumpers, leaked oil like crazy and power steering fluid.
Tranny leaked gear oil every where. Exhaust was full of holes.
Has 2.5" body lift with off brand tires im guessing 33s not shown on the tires. Shocks were done for
Frame is good.
Need new rockers inner and outter floor pans cab corners doors need work fromt fenders bed side panels hood bent (classic) brakeslines literally crumbled in my hand. Seats out of a blazer the list goes on n on. Post pics as soon as i figure out how to from my phone
