need a little help with a NP205 shifter...
« on: November 01, 2012, 06:16:30 pm »
I am missing the bracket and wire harness @ the shifter for the 4x4 indicator in the cluster. I have the part of the harness from the cluster down to the shifter but the project truck I got is missing it @ the shifter. If anybody has an exploded view with part numbers let me know!

I don't have an exploded view but the 205 indicator switch screws directly into the top of the case, it's not located on the shifter.

What nverenuf said.
Its just a spring loaded ball switch. When the case is shifted into any 4x4 position a rail inside pushes it close completing the circuit, lighting the light.
The shifter just has a pass through bolt sometimes with a greaes fitting in the head of it and a grease passage drilled down through and out the side of the bolt.
