85 Chevy Short Bed

Bought a 85 SWB that was a driver until parked 6 years ago.  Looking to get it running tomorrow, keep you guys posted.

I'm having issues adding pictures I took from my phone, keeps saying the file size is too big. Any suggestions?

have you read the threads that are practice pages by chance? there are a ton of helpful hints and troubleshooting tips in there. I wish I knew exactly how to help, but I'm only average with computer stuff

Spent the day cleaning the truck. Cleaned the plugs, checked the distributed and tried pouring fresh fuel in, turns over but no fire.  Any ideas?

you can start by checking if you have current at the distributor, if you do then see if you have spark... if you have spark then you would want to check timing.... this is where i would start....

Thanks, ill have to try that tomorrow when I get home from work.  Doing most of the work by myself so any ideas how to check spark by yourself?

well you can use an inline spark tester and crank it from the cab, youŽll be able to see the light from the cab.... their cheap and usually you can find them in any local parts store... check this one out in amazon...
