I have an 86 C10 that has been lowered (I'm not sure how much though, it was already lowered when i bought it.) I'd like the close in the gap between my tires and the trim to give the appearance it's lowered a little more than it already is. without modifying it any lower. I have been considering using the spare rims from the 2004-2006 Dodge Ram's and then wrapping them with a nicer tire. Preferably not too "rubberbandi-ish." I do realize that I'll need an adapter to do so, but would anyone know if I'll have clearance problems?
I'm also open to more suggestions.
