3 speed manual transmission noise

Had clutch replaced in 2010.  Hope a compete kit was put in.
Not good at describing sounds.
When clutch is engaged in neutral, hear a noise like a rolling, roaring sound .
In first and second hear loud noise that often includes a loud squeal or squeak.
In third, the sounds go away except now hear the same noise heard in neutral but more faint perhaps due to engine noise.
Some say it is the pilot and/or throw out bearing.  Afraid it is tranny.
Can a person get parts for this tranny for a rebuild if necessary?

It could be internal issues with the transmission, but a couple of questions:

1) Is the clutch adjusted correctly?
and
2) Do you think the throwout bearing was greased when the clutch kit was installed? Some throwout bearings have a grease zerk. If yours happens to be that type, then you should be able to grease it without having to remove the transmission.

Sounds like the throwout bearing.  you definitely should be able to rebuilt it.  I haven't had to in a while though, so not sure where to start, but check with local circle track guys.

Do not know if it was greased properly or not.  Have never noticed a grease zerk or a place that would take grease.

Took the truck to a local transmission place today.  They say it is input bearing and bearings for first and second gear.
Someone else told me that the throw out or pilot bearing could be the problem.  Only here the noise when clutch is engaged.

i would think just the throw out since its making the noise sitting in neutral with the clutch engaged (AFAIK 1st and 2nd gear shouldn't be turning while in neutral). and tell that shop to shove it lol. how can they say its more than one bearing just by the noise without tearing it apart.

Got the truck back today.  Nice to have it back without the noise.

They put in a kit of syros and bearings and seals too.

Now back to the heater blower switch.

So nice to drive the blue goose without all that tranny noise.  Told a friend that it would jump out of reverse.  Thought maybe I was not always quite getting it in gear with new scynros.  He said the adjuster bolt was loose and the reverse-first lever was not moving all the way into reverse.    His tweaking seemed to make the shifting better.  On the way home, winding down a ramp, did not quite get it into second.  Or maybe just let the clutch out to soon while shifting. Released the clutch and pushed a little more.
Later this evening heard a new sound in second.  What could have gone wrong already?  Have I already messed up a bearing or scynro?

If you paid for a repair I would take it back.  It shouldn't jump out of any gear if they inspected it and fixed it.  Or did they tear the whole thing apart and just put syncros in?
