Newbie Dude from Waco, TX

Had my 87 Chevy 4x4 since 2003 and has been my daily driver since. Now that I have some time to dedicate some TLC to my ol blue, I'm on a mission to bring her back to her glory days. I want to keep her close to the original stance with a few mods, 3 inch lift, TBI to vortec heads conversion, and new paint. Pulled out the old motor and have the TBI vortec head engine on a stand mocking everything up before dropping it in since I have a few modifications I have deal with the conversion. Like the throttle body brackets, egr/smog tubing/tube routing, a/c bracket config, and I hope that's it!!

Thanks for the welcome, Gents!!
cvbear, I'm a transplant from Hawaii via Ft Hood TX and decided to stick around! Can't wait for the new Baylor Stadium to be completed. Maybe I'll run into to you at the Pates Swap Meet at the TMS in Ft Worth Apr 24th or if you're come back down to Waco hopefully I'll be finished with the restoration to my Old Blue and we can hook up.
bd, I was born in San Pedro CA, one of these days I'll head back to CA to visit some relatives, in my Old Blue of course!
