Hello from Texas!
« on: February 13, 2014, 09:09:44 pm »
Very happy to have found this place!  I have a 1979 Royal Sierra that I am in the process of bringing back to life.  It has been flooded...TWICE!  It belonged to my father in law and was his shop truck at his garage.  I have rebuilt the motor and just got it back between the rails last Saturday.  Hope to be able to get it running soon, but mother nature is not cooperating.  I have spent a lot of time perusing the site before signing up and have learned a couple of things.  First, there are guys on here that have forgotten more than I'll ever know about mechanicing and second, they are usually more than willing to offer up great advice to guys like myself.  I will try not to overwhelm everyone with my questions :D
Doin' the best I can with what I've got!
