« on: June 13, 2014, 02:14:58 pm »
Hello everyone,
My name is jesse i am from little falls mn
I have been into trucks since i was born i have not always been a chevy fan
Altho my first truck was a 77 gmc when i was 15 and i loved it but after blowing 3 motors in lesse than a yr
I sold it and went with dodge built a few trucks mostly for mud
In my earily 20's i got into fords mostly cause i rilly liked the ford in urban cowboy lol
I built a few 4x4 pulling trucks and did that for about 9yrs started off in pro stock and the last few yrs i ran mod
I did all my own own fab work and most of my motor work
It got to be to much and was takeing too much time away with spending time with my kids so i gave it up 3 yrs ago
I have finally decided to build a truck that is road leagle and fun that our whole famly can fit in
It took me a few months but i thought back to my younger days and how my 77 made me feel it was rusty but it had 36's 6" lift i thought i was the coolest guy in school
And even truck pulling i loved the squair body chevys but didnt tell anyone cause i had my fords lol
So a few weeks ago i finally bought a 85 chevy c20 i wanted a 4x4 but couldnt pass this one up it is in good shape everything works and it has just over 100k with a 454 crate motor with only 45k
I am doing a 4x4 convesion useing a 78 3/4 4x4 as my donor
I am gonna use all the brackets and steering of it
I have a few differnt motor/tranny options lift and wheel combos i am not shure what rout i am gonna go yet
I hope ya all can help me decide
Ok enof rambling nice to meet ya all i look forward to getting to know everyone and hofuly help when i can
