Up & Running
« on: August 17, 2015, 07:31:03 pm »
Hi guys,
I live in Oregon and recently started working on my '75 c10. I got this truck in 2007, drove it as fast as it would go every where I went until the tranny let go. I had to park it because I didn't have the time or cash to get it running again. Now, I still don't have the cash, but I've made the time to get this beast back on the road. I hope to get a lot of advice from the forum and share what I'm doing. Some of the things I'm planning  are:
- Vent widow delete
- Tranny rebuild (I'll probably have this done by a pro)
- New wheels and tires
- Junk yard rear disc swap
- Lower it about 4" in the front and 6" in the rear
- Ditch the giant mirrors

And much more that I'll figure out later.

What do you guys think?

Absolutely! Most of the rubber has been replaced and fluids are fresh! I'd like to upgrade the front rotors to a larger diameter using factory brakes off something else do you have any advice/resources to track down something that will work?
