It's not the torque converter. Pull the plugs, check the cap and rotor.

I did the plugs a month ago, R45TS. Should I add in new wires, I have cap and rotor in my cart right now.

…still have same wires you put on.

Did it start running rough after you did the plugs?

No, it was smooth. I just got a new dist. cap, rotor and plug wires. I’ll check and make sure each plug is sparking.

No change at all, new dist cap, rotor and plug wires. The only thing I saw back there not connected was this. What is it and where does it go? Connection for optional tachometer?

Pull your plugs, check the gaps, make sure none of them are cracked. That is oil pressure sending unit or switch. Do you have gauges or lights?

Solved!!

It was those tiny primary idle tubes. I removed both idle mixture screws and shoved the thin red hose up there deep and blasted with my firearm bore cleaner and then carb cleaner, repeat, rinse, repeat. Waited 10 minutes then blasted the compressed air up there, fuel and cleaner blew right up and out the top. Put the screws back in and backed them out accordingly. Fired right up and was as smooth as ever.

Oh, I have all dash lights, and oil pressure gauge is reading fine, so where (physically) does that thing connect on to??

Thanks!
