Jeepers. I am constantly hurting myself in various ways. I can't seem to do a job without stabbing, jabbing, smashing or otherwise hurting myself. Fortunately, my injuries have always been comparatively minor. I'll be mindful of this thread the next time I get angry about hurting myself.

2" steel pipe from the bumper reinforcements. I can't cut them off much more without taking the bed off.

Head meet steel.

Deep gouge, headache for the last 5 hours and had some shakes going on.. awesome day.

Had all the expected when working on an old truck. Learned adjusting a carb in the dark is a bad idea, luckily my fan blade was dull, none the less my fingers were numb for awhile, then bruised and sore for a week or two. Worst injury though was not from an old truck but from my dads fiero, word to the wise, don't catch a transmission on your back...fractured my t7 and messed up my hip, took 3 years to get used to the normal pain, still have days its bad, and now my hip makes sure I know when I move wrong, which is why I hate working under the dash. And I definitely understand the starter bombing, those things are heavy and stubborn. I have also ran into the alternator fan, lucky for me it was just my finger nails, still hurt like a you know what though.

I just remembered that in a dual of knuckles vs. alternator van, alternator fan wins, knuckles loose chunks of flesh.

Don't wear a scarf EVER. They are not an approved clothing item for men who drive pick up trucks haha.

I was pulling the starter off my dad's old 82 and after dropping the bolt on my eye our cousin pulled up.  He was coming over to shoot a pistol he had just bought and I forgot about it. He started shooting at the target we had set up about 30 yrds away and the casings somehow made there way into the open hood around the finder well and right onto my cheek lol. I just slid over and kept wrenching at the starter.

Then putting the tranny in my 82 I ripped my thumb nail off on the fly wheel. I had shut it in the door about 3 weeks before an  had it taped up. But of course the tranny fluid works the tape right off lol.
