It depends on where it isn't straight.

Usually it falls to the drag link. Look behind the driver tire and you'll see a sleeve connected by two joints. Adjust this sleeve to  move the steering wheel.

Little goes a long way.

another option is to re-index the wheel on the shaft, normally just a nut and wheel puller needed-don't know about these trucks haven't pulled one apart before

No! Do not do this. Do it properly. By re-indexing the wheel anytime you do an alignment or front end work your wheel is going to be of again.

Sorry, I should have been a little clearer, if alignment is correct and steering box centered, another option is to reindex the wheel. Being aftermarket it could be a spline or couple off

Presumably the wheel is not centered when the truck is driving straight down the road. In that case, simply re-positioning the steering wheel on the column spline-shaft would be the right way to do it. I have a Grant and with old sloppy steering, it's easy to get it off a few teeth when installing. My Grant sits crooked as well. No need for a wheel puller on mine. It just slips right off.

Don't over complicate things, you go all the way to the right and all the way to the left. The half way point is the middle. Do not remove and reposition it unless someone improperly installed the wheel. As said by enabarif you would adjust the drag link to center the steering wheel.

I will check it all out today guys.. I would just jump straight to the drag link but, looking at all of the previous owners work there is really no telling if he installed it correctly or not. All of the horn stuff is in the glove box so I need to do that anyway...thanks again
