Loosers
« on: January 29, 2016, 10:54:39 am »
Why can't people leave things alone? Two nights ago my truck was broken into at work and they tried to steal it. Thankfully I had the steering column lock on so they could not start it. They tried to get in through the wing window and damaged the door in doing so. When that did not work they broke out the rear slider and got in. Luckily they did not do much else all that was missing was my mp3 player. The damage to the door was the worse, it will need to be replaced. I just don't understand why people can be how they are.

They've been taught by our fine public education system to be good Marxist sociopaths.
Their credo is "What's yours is mine and what's mine is my own..."  or "All private property is stolen from the collective." which can be boiled down to "All personal property is theft."

I'll shut up now before my rant goes on for 12 pages...

There are plenty of people out there who couldn't care less about you, your family, your work ethic, the police, getting caught. consequences, laws mean nothing, etc.

It's a harsh reality but man let me tell you. I have security all around my property, 24 hour surveillance, remote surveillance, weapons/guns, motion sensors, extra lighting etc. I don't trust anyone. I also roll with a dash cam on my daily driver.

If you are in an area with losers like that, get a dash cam and a security system. When someone tries to break in it will scare them off and ding your phone. Look at the dash cam footage and bag them.

Oh people and society are not held to the same standards and life lessons as decades past. I'm happy to say my parents spanked me as a child, alot. Taught me a lot about respect and being a good person. It probably didn't hurt that both of them were police officers anyway.

My truck got vandalized once, they tried to steal the aluminum trim off my tailgate. Failed attempt but I found it the next morning hanging half off the tailgate. I went right out and bought a quality alarm system. I actually just got a dash cam for x-mas, I was gonna post on here about using it, just haven't got around to installing it yet. Figured I'd play with it and see how I like it.

I have security of my own at home, gated property, cameras, guns, no trespassing signs, it don't stop people. I've literally watched people on my cameras open my gates and let them selves on the property or when I'm outside working on the truck they just park in my driveway and walk up the drive and I'm like "Excuse the heck out me?! Did you not see the signs?!" I'll be calm but direct and watch them the entire time, they seem to get the hint for the most part.

I just had a lady approach me this evening at the gas station, asking for money. I cut her off, shut her down when she started talking and then ignored her as soon as she started talking again. You always have to keep your head on a swivel, condition yellow they taught us in my defense/carry class, yellow is calm but alert and keeping an eye on your surroundings. I actually yelled at a guy once because he didn't understand NO and if you cause a seen in public people tend to take notice, plus he was berating other people so I called the police.

Rant aside, it's probably my up bringing that is why I'm trying to change jobs and pursue a career in law enforcement. Trying to get on with the local sheriff's department.

Anyway, that's my rant, it's over now lol.
I feel your pain.

i had one guy just the past week during the blizzard come running up to my truck while ill was on my way home from work. he sees the patch on my shoulder and immediately mentions  that hes the brother of a capt that i used to work for, i just laughed cause this is the one and only Capt that ever tried to write me up (got immediately turned down, but anyway). he goes on bringing humor into our conversation bringing up the point that he didnt mean to startle me being black and running up on my truck at a stop light.

i let him talk i was looking at him but wasnt paying attention to the word lol. then after his speech asking for some diesel fuel. i said "i would but you pulled the same story on my about 3 years ago right there at that gas station and told me about your brother." he then said "what" with a concerned look on his face. i said yeah right there at that gas pump. he then says "sorry if i insulted you have a nice day". then as he ran away i had a couple people mention this capt. saying they were kin to him and begging for money. im thinking, he makes more way money than me why not ask him?
