Recommendations for th350 rebuild kits
« on: February 03, 2016, 09:12:56 am »
So it's tax season high means funds are available to rebuild my th350. I would like to do this one and get my money's worth, so, does anyone have recommendations on rebuild kits, shift kits, and anything else I may need to rebuild this th350?

It's going behind a mild sbc with vortec heads and a lunati 60101 cam (similar to comp cams 256h I believe). And 3.42:1 rear gear.

Call Jim at Built Right Transmissions at 318-779-1006.  He can put together a kit and suggest parts. You will also need a new or rebuilt torque converter.

Btw Summit Racing Brand stalls will handle 500 hp/tq. Not sure which one you'd needed until I researched your cam. At work right now.

Lol, yeah I don't need a stall, if anything it'd be around 1700...but I'm not gonna worry about getting a stall. Summit and jegs said a 1600-2200 would work good, but the cam makes good power starting at 1000rpm, so the factory stall will be fine.
