Where to look for frame damage?

 I bought this project 85 3/4 ton that has been hit in drivers front.  I know the lower control arm is bent some but before I dive too deep into replacing fender and front end parts I am needing to make sure frame is not tweaked, where do I start? The front clip seems to be twisted some left, but fender seems jammed more in that direction. Truck belonged to a friends late father who had wrecked it before he passed. I have all original paperwork , receipts and even the window sticker so would like to repair right.

  ok maybe I should try again ,is there a spot that would be weaker in a front collision that I need to check. The gap in the passenger front fender to hood is wider now than in back and collision is in drivers, could it just be pressure from bent fender or the radiator support bent frame or? Just looking for idea. Got it all running yesterday and moved under its on power for the first time in years, excited on how smooth it runs, only have $600.00 in it so far. Bed had thick rubber mat and was full of cedar tree straw , I was expecting the worst but bed floor is near perfect !

I'd run it down to an auto body shop that has a frame rack. Have them check it out and possibly straighten it for you. Then take on the rest of the repair. The rest looks like sheet metal replacement and paint. Good luck

Need to work on brakes a little first but they may be best route if I can find a local shop to get on it.

Park it on a level concrete pad. Find 8 points on the frame that are identical from side to side. Drop a plumb bob from each of them, mark the spot with something, keep the spot small, but make sure you can see it. Move the truck, measure them from corner to corner. Write them down on a diagram. The measurements should be very close.
