think of getting a 95 k2500

need some thought about this. at first i was looking into getting a nv4500 for my crew cab so i did a search and found a 95 k2500 with the nv4500. but i dont need another truck, and i need a 96+ nv4500 but the 95 will work just need to do machine work. but then i thought about it i could do a frame swap for my (wifes) 94 swb c1500 4.3 and cut the frame/drive shaft down on the 95 and have a nice little pick up. and this leads me to my question. will i have to lift the cab up since it 2wd to clear the trans case like on our trucks?

hes asking 2700 obo, if i get the truck im not going to be paying that lol. im thinking more of 1500 maybe 2k
