Th350 Dipstick legnth

My dipstick for my th350 mount broke. So it no longer stays in the transmission and it leaks. So i bought a new chrome one from the auto part store but it wasn't as long as the old one. Does anyone know the exact length for the old original dip stick? I got 34in in this right? and does anyone know were i can get a non chrome one?

the total lengh doesnt matter. its the leght of the dipstick that passes the sholder at the base. understand? my discription mat not be very understanding lol. but its the part that sticks into the pan and that touches the fluid.
