How do you remove the latch from the glove box door?  I have the type that does not use a key to lock, it just latches the door shut.

Good luck...I had the same one in my truck. I tried to take it off and ended up braking the thing. >:   Got a new one from Chevy Duty for 15$.

if you are removing the latch while the glove box is still in the truck start by turning the latch counter clockwise until it is loose (you will see it unthread) then hold the inner half of the latch turn and pull the outer half until it releases.  putting it back together is another battle.

You stick a paperclip (straightened of course) in the hole and it will loosen the knob....it has been a while, don't remember the details, but just play with it and you'll see it will come off.
