Long time lurker in the forum. Finally joined. My name is dan and I am from Washington state. I have to square body trucks. My 75 is a k10 lifted on 42 swampers. I've had her since 2001 and she's been a good toy. She has 3/4 ton axles, 5.13 gears with Detroit locker, disc brakes all 4 corners, 4 bolt main 350 roller 350 with vortec heads and a 268 comp cam. Sm465 tranny,205 , center force clutch and willwood hydraulic clutch setup. And tons more. Plans are to boat side the body. And find a Dana 60 for the front.

I recently just picked up this 81 c10 for the wife. Future plans are 6/9 drop and twentys.

And this is a project I just finished for a friend. 80 c10 that I slammed to about a 6/10 drop.

Very nice trucks!

Quick (noob) question; What does it mean to "boat side the body"?

Thanks. It's where you raise the sides up on the body and build in some rock sliders to gain clearance. I probably won't be as extreme as this blazer here in the pic but I am going to copy this yellow step side here in the last pic.

So, are you also a Buick guy?  lol

And what's the "old" truck in the background w/ the '80 C10?

Yep I am a big Buick guy. And so is my family. We have 65-66 gran sports. With a few others on the mix. The truck in the background my yard art for now. Lol. It's a 41 dodge on a 53 power wagon frame and suspension.
