I posted in drivetrains but no luck. Does anyone know the procedures of replacing the seal in the shift shaft on a 700R4?

It appears as though none of us has had this problem.

I don't know why no one else has had this problem, I have seen it at the dealership many times, just never have fixed one.

It's easy. I have the tool to do it but you really don't even need the remover installer to do it. Remove the shift linkage and pry the old seal out using a small screwdriver or cotter pin tool and drive the new one in with a socket. Make sure you lube the new seal with either vaseline or atf.

Thanks for the advice. I knew there couldn't be much to it, just didn't want to screw anyhthing up.
