1987 silverado fuel gauge

Fuel gage won’t read past 1/4 tank , I’ve swapped out the sending unit , have put 12 v to the gauge and it registers past full .... any ideas

I had a 72 that was like that.  It had a blown fuse.  Probably not the issue but worth taking a look.

Yea , I’ve checked all the fuses and they’re all good
