What is this?!

This was in my shopping bag i brought into the house, set the bag on the table and heard a clunk. Couldnt have gotten in there at the store checkout...i dont think. The bag was on the floor of my truck though. Did it fall from under the dash?? Sure dont look like a GM part. Base of a antenna maybe?? Almost thought someone from work slipped it in there as a gag. But no.

It's for removing security tags most likely. You said you were at the store, clothing store? Now you can steel pants without the alarm going off.

I believe VZ is probably correct. The center where the depression is, is magnetic. I had purchased a pair of pants at Bob's in Enfield (VZ knows the place i'm talking about). So i guess the clerk must have slid the dungarees off the counter and in the shopping bag, thus carrying the device with it.

I have it in my garage, was going to use it as a little magnetic cup for putting little screws in and such. I'll probably bring it back to the clothing store just to give me peace of mind that it is what we think it is and finally solve this mystery. I know the suspense is killing everyone, so i will update. Lol
