Your truck uses a TV cable (throttle valve), not a detent cable. What's the problem with it?

When I bought the truck the cable was broke so I got a new one installed it & now doesn't shift right adjusted it the test drove does fine while driving on straight away but when driving in lower speeds it starts Jerking if that makes any sense also the cable is adjusted all the way out thanks Tim

Sounds like you went the wrong way. Tighten the cable slack by depressing the tab and pushing the plunger all the way in towards the firewall. Sitting inside the truck with the engine off, depress the accelerator pedal all the way down. Retry it.
