« on: January 08, 2026, 03:56:26 am »
1978 K10 stock height 305 w/ th350 with np203 LWB Hey yall, long time reader second time poster, took down my transfer case to replace my transmission pump and cant remember how the crossmember spacers go on, do they go above, below, in between? Also, when my pump went out  , i grabbed another one from a parts transmission i have, will that work? It moves again indernits own power but shuddered a bit at first, itll go up through the gears ok but seems like its kinda stiff getting up there and has a vibration the whole time, pretty sure my rear seal on engine started leaking too, i changed all the seals on the tranny when i attempted to fix, the pump gasket seal, front seal, anybhelp would he appreciated thanks

Unless you have lowered the crossmember, the spacers go above the frame rail. No one can tell you if your pump will interchange without knowing what you took it out of.
