has anyone replaced the seats in a 79 with seats from a 93 gmc?

Have not done it my self but I heard you can bolt the older tracks to the newer seats and bolt them in. Even if the track bolts don't line up I would think you could drill new holes or make some adaptor plates.

Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs

I made a new lower frame and bolted the bare seats to it..those seats are thin and can be positioned lower and further back that the originals..very nice in my opinion..
