hood hinges-worth it or not...
« on: January 20, 2007, 11:57:00 pm »
with my hood off i noticed that my hinges got some play in them. i looked at them harder toady and decided the play was coming from the bottom 2 pins on them and the rest seemed tight on both of them. u guys think its worth it to try to drill them 2 out and put new bolts in or should i just say heck with it and buy new ones or try to find some tight used one somewhere???? it looks like it could be kinda a pain drilling them out but it would only be 4 of them all together soo i dont know....

fix them. Use a grade 8 shoulder bolt and with a little drilling, cutting, grinding and some moly lube they'll be better than new. And if you really get ambitious get them chromed.
