Hello, I'm Joe from Soldotna Alaska. I too am a Chevy freak. I'm 35 and married with two kids. I grew up as a heavy equipment mechanic (since I was 12) and have been a millwright in the industrial equipment field for 15 or so years. I have all ways been a Chevy guy. I love to work on them as a relaxing Hobby. I'm starting to get a collection of vehicles. Fortunately my vehicles are at my shop a couple of miles from the house so the wife doesn't have to see how many there are or if a new "Jem" has been brought home! Here is a list of my toys.
74 Suburban K-20 350/TH350/NP203 Pretty rough shape. Will be parting out this summer.
78 Truck K-20 402/TH350/NP205 6" lift 35's. My trail and firewood truck. Some rust and dents.
82 Truck K-20 500 Cadillac/TH350/NP205 33" tires Nice body, fading paint. My first Chevy. A blast to drive
85 Truck K-20 472 Cadillac/TH400/NP208 6" lift 35" tires Hit a moose. Needs a new front clip. and need to get rid of the God awful red interior.
86 K-10 Stepside 305/A-833/NP208 Currently in my shop restoring the body and interior. Hope to be completed by March.
87 Blazer K-10 350/700R4/NP208 4" lift 33" tires Will be getting painted, 35" tires, and limited slip front end/posi rear end this summer. Will be for launching the boat off the beach into the ocean.
88 Suburban K-10 TBI 350/700R4/NP208 8' Meyer plow. On a quite night you can hear it rust!
61 Ford Fairlane 500. 298?/cruise-o-matic. 75,000 original miles. I know it is the "F" word, but it is the car we drove off in when we were married and just a cool old car. Great condition, but the clear coat is starting to peel.
06 Sierra 2500 HD Dirty Max/Allison 6 Spd. CC/SB PPE Hot+ programmer, cat delete. A tire eating beast. I love driving it!

I hope they come up for a cure for my illness. These trucks are eating up all of my money, and my wifes patience!

Hey everyone! I'm Christian, 18 years old and single with no kids. I currently live in Winnemucca, NV but I'm from Los Angeles, CA. Currently for my daily driver I have a 99 Ford Ranger XLT with a long travel kit and stuffing 33s. For my toy I recently traded off my 99 Silverado for an 86 GMC K20 longbed which obviously brought me to this site lol I also ride motocross professionally but I'm out with an injury at the moment, I shattered my right ankle and it is seriously putting a damper on getting my new toy trail ready! haha

Hello everyone, my name is Dylan Smith. Im 22 years old. I live in Bozeman Montana. I am originally from Billings, and also grew up on a farm in the NE corner of the state. I have an 83 silverado that was originally my fathers that he passed down to me. Its the first thing i learned to drive when i was 12. Although its no longer my primary vehicle it still gets quite a bit of time on the road, especially in the winter when the car cant push through the snow. My truck has been an ongoing project since ive owned it, and i have put money in it whenever i can afford it. The truck is in pretty good shape but shows some wear after spending alot of its life on dirt backroads. Hoping to replace the tired old 305 this summer with a new crate 350, and to address a rust issue behind my rear drivers side tire.

Hello everyone, my name is Bryan Pedigo. I am a Sgt in the Marine Corps stationed in VA. I have a 85 Chevy K20 with a 454 and TH350 with a NP205. It is sitting on 10.5 14 bolt rear and a GM 10 up front with a set of 38.5x16x16.5 TSL. It has about 7 inches of lift 4 suspension and 3 body. I just got the truck and plan on finishing it up. I am a mechanic in the Marine Corps but HMMWV, LVS, 7 TON, and MRAP are way different than an 85 Chevy. The body of the truck is actually a C10 but sitting ona K20 frame.

Names Adam I live in Davie FL. Never customized a vehicle before but want to bring this one back and further always wanted an old chevy and landed a good deal on this GMC K1500 w/ 350. its got the good 4 speed tranny with a granny. it also has the good transfer case. it was going to be used as a trash truck so I rescued it. I hope to learn alot and welcome suggestions. I am just a back yard mechanic and would love good advice. I dont think I will ever have to find another truck cause this one treats me right and dosnt need a computer to fix it.

Hey All,
My name is Kyle and Im glad to finally be a member. you see i have used this site countless times for research, but was never able to post anything myself. Im married with two kids. I currently have a 1986 GMC 3+3 1-Ton 4x4 with 454,TH400,NP205,D60,D70(with locker), 4"lift and a flat bed as my tow rig. But my pation lies with my "Brown Baby" it is a 1980 C/K20 Scottsdale. I purchased it from the original owner with 55,000 miles. I have since installed a dodge kingpin D60 in the front with crossover and custom shock towers, locker into my 14FF, rear disc conversion, custom leaf packs and shackles yielding about 4.5" lift (im about to reconfigure my entire suspension), I converted it from the SM465 to a home built TH350 (which is soon to be upgraded aswell). the interior is gutted at the moment and will continue to be untill i can afford new guages, seat, and carpet kit. I also have to install my custom heater and defroster units, custom dash and door panels (my first attempt at apolstry), and new hurst shifter. My Brown Baby has 1000s of hours of custom fabrication in her and 10's of 1000's yet to go.
Thanks for having me!,
Kyle

Hey everybody! Ok, so I am new and would like to learn how things work around here. My name is Kevin, I'm 18 and I live in the central valley of California. I am a huge gear head and I love all Chevy's. Chevy trucks are my passion and I'm not afraid to say I'm country and proud of it. I joined the forum because I have seen ya'll a lot when I go searching for truck info. I have had my Chevy for about a year and a half and sometimes I really don't know what to do when I have a project going, so I joined to learn and make friends with a love for Chevrolet. So that's about me, this next part is about my truck. I have a 1979 Chevy Cheyenne C20 Camper Special. It has a stock SB350 with a 600 Edelbrock Performer Series carb. It has TH350 Auto trans and 4:10 gears in the axle. It's a standard cab, long bed. It has a heater and a/c, manual locks and windows (with I am hoping to soon change when I can). I also have a descent sound system, I have Rockford Fosgate speakers, Lighting audio amp and Dual radio (I am also hoping to build and all Fosgate system with one of those radios that look like the stock ones but do all the cool stuff). I since I have had my truck, I have doubled the value and am very slowly working on restoring it while also using it as my only transportation. So that's me, who I am and what I got. Hope to soon meet ya'll!

Hello all from Houston Texas!!
I'm Marcus and I got my first 1980 C-10 and just won 2nd place in my division yesterday.
I also own a 1979 Z28. These are my 2 babies. I'm looking to purchase all new brakes (complete set) due to leakage which ruined my new paint job in the wheel well!
I look forward to being a productive and helpful memeber to this site as well as an inquisitive one. I have several questions for the experts here but am willing to share what I know as well.
