Hello! My names Blake and I'm 18 y/o from Oklahoma. I have a 1974 C10 that I'm "learning the ropes" on how to work on cars/trucks from my dad. We put in a 350 bored out to 410. Recently after working 6 months got the tranny fixed to drive it. ^^ Slow project since I'm in school and about to head to college. Hope this forum can help me ^^

Howdy from DFW, TX
Helping keep my father-in-laws 1978 running.
Originally had a Diesel but was removed & an '83 350 Gas Engine was installed in its place. Now the brake lens are oxidized and have been replaced. Horn not working, none found so hope the wiring diagrams I found here will help.
More work to follow.
Jeff

Hi I'm Rick from Ottawa Ontario Canada. I am 58 yrs old and I am building a 1980 Chev fleetside shortbox. So far it is lowered 4 & 5, Has a 350 with Camel hump 300 HP heads, headers, Flowmaster, 4 speed ( Maybe changing to a 700 R4) , Shaving the body and filling in back lights. Interior is coming along in the basement as it is really cold up here. It's an ongoing project but I'm having fun. Hope to get more ideas and suppliers from here.
Rick

Hi, I'm Robert from Coalinga, CA. My current project is a '77 K20. I'm a tilesetter during the day and in my free time I ride my Harley and play in the mud in my truck.

Hi there! My name is Joe and i am from Illinois. I am the owner of a 1973 Chevy custom 10 4x4 with a 350, that my dad and I are restoring. I am still in school so it is a long process but it is coming along slowly but surely. I really enjoy working on it and have learned a lot.

Hello All! I'm Nick From Petaluma, CA (35 min north of San Francisco) I come from a chevy family.. My dad and brothers are all chevy guys.. I'm 27, no kids and not married. I live together with my girlfriend, my twin brother and his family -he's on here as knightrider 84. I'm a union crane operator and have been for 7 years.. I really enjoy my job, although construction is so slow right now.. In good weather i can be found riding my 2007 Victory Vegas or at a lake wakeboarding. the rest of my free time is monopolized by wrenching, detailing, or just tinkering with my K30

Hello to all. I just registered. My name is Scott. I live in frozen tundra of NE PA. Almost a year ago I picked a 87 GMC SRW one ton 4x4 with TBI 454, TH400, 205 and 4.10's. I've always liked the older Chevy trucks and the color combo of mine is actually what I would haven chosen had I been able to buy one new back then. It needs some work but is a blast to drive. I am looking to eventually use it to tow to the racetrack once I get my car together and pick up a trailer. After checking this site out for about an hour I decided to register because it looks pretty cool. Thanks.

I'm Donnie, I currently reside in Tempe AZ. Ive had around 11 of these trucks over the last ten years and built 4 at my now defunct Genocide Pneumatics in Mesa. Since I'm confined to an apartment I don't get much chance to wrench on my 74 lwb, and my 79 swb that is my namesake is now in Apache Junction getting cannibalized so that others can carry on a few more miles. My 74 is slated to get dropped next month, as long as I can find a place to do it... I really miss having a Shop.

Hello everyone. Very new to this site. Just bought a 74 k10 stepside that I plan on doing a frame off resto on. This is one of 2 vehicles that I have always wanted but never owned. Now I am down to one. My name is Tom and I am 43 yrs old, married with 2 children. 19 yr old son and 15 yr old daughter. I live in Sacramento CA. and work in the environmental area. No I don't make up all those stupid laws, I am a srv manager for a company that sells and services the machines that the government makes you have to be compliant. I look forward to this build since it has been awhile since my last one, and look forward to getting to know all of you great guys and gals out there.

Hey I'm Todd.
My '87 K5 is my second Blazer in the past 20 years. I owned an '86 about 20 years ago. Loved it and missed it so I got my '87 in January of this year.
Some minor things I want to do to it, and then use it for some weekend off roading and plowing when the snow rolls thru....
