Go with B, then. But, A is so new and shiney. But, in a few months they'll be discolored a little, too. But B has the reliefs pained so handsomely ;D

Stick with (B).  But I see why it's a tough decision.  They're both purty.  And those headers came out real nice.  Can't wait to see all back together.

How can you say that?!?  They are the same covers, except "A" looks to have been very diligently polished.  They both look great!  Just out of personal preference, I like "B" better because they coordinate better with the engine.

i guess im just not a fan of all chrome/polished look...

i have all chrome valve covers on my truck and i hate em.. i want to get some fabricated aluminum covers for it and it would set it off..

but i agree.. B because of the colors coordination..

Those are both polished aluminum and they weren't cheap. The only thing chrome on the motor is the breather, the waterneck and the pulleys.

B. The added color really shows off all the rest of the polished alum. and chrome. The whole thing looks pretty awesome though. Great job.

^ And there was absolutely nuthin' wrong with how it looked before the teardown. Go with the painted valve covers. It always looks WAY better when reliefs between cast fins are painted. Just that much more detailed.

I went with the original ones so there's no going back now lol

One thing I hated about my original install was running the wiring harness back along the bottom of the cowl and the junction block. So I am going out there now to move it around and redo it.

Both valve covers are sweet but I think the painted look better. Your engine looks great 8) You are gonna knock people out when you pop the hood!
