Chris,
i thank you on your reply.I mean i love these trucks to death. If i had more energy i keep going. But in 3 years i been working on and off and i am just to tired to do it much longer..The heat here is unreal, yo dont want to do much of anything cause of it..I try n tell myself its almost over you got a very little left to do..I seen my electric bill went up cause of the continous running of my compressor and welder. So friday the guy is commin to get al lthe parts and its going to be done and in paint hopefully in 2 months.I told him the majority of the heavy bodywork is done. You may need to do a little here n there but the overal lbodywork is finished..SO it should cust the cost alot there..I`ll keep you al linformed and vile n chris.. Thanks guys i know im not the only 1 here that feels like this...

thanks
pat

Sorry dusty,
i decided not to use the tubs, it is just to much work and i realize it wouldn`t be worth trying to modify brand new bedsides so they did go to a good home though.A kid up the street has a 84 c10 mud truck and the ones he has were rotted pretty badly. He is a young kid and i asked him if these will work.. His eye lit up and asked how much???? I told him have a nice day.. Now he wants to help me with the stepside, i told him the body is just about done so no need for help.. I told him if you want a hand to let me know....

thanks
pat

That's cool. That's how I am. There's not enough of us out there. Everyone seems to want to sell their garbage and would rather hang on to it and clutter up craigslist with it.

Kid is only like 16-17 years old.He seen me working on the truck 1 day and knew it was a chevy right off the back lol... So thats when he stopped in and asked what year it was and if it was a hot rod or a show truck.I told him both and thats when he started telling me about his 84 c10 .(yes a 2wd mud truck) But its cool to see there going to be used.. So good deeds never go unnoticed...

thanks
pat
p.s. i got the rear fenders done all thats left is the rollpan which will be done tonight  before i go watch some fireworks.. Then that is it folks it is DONE!!!!!!!!

Well folks
the parts are all gone. The guy i`m going to have it done by came today to pick up everything except the truck. He is going to do all the parts and paint the inside of everything. Then take the truck, and get it done.I`m also going to have the inside of the inner fenderwells done.I`m finally happy its getting done.I had a problem though.I tried putting my cadillac taillights in and they dont fit.. Sucks but i`m going to go back to a rear bumper and brackets..I`ll feel safer in a rear end collision then w/o a bumper.Plus it should look better then a rollpan..The thoughts were there in my heads but in reality it`s better to go back original in this case...

thanks
pat

I hate that your taillights dont fit but I think it will look good with a nice bumper.

Problem is when the guy welded the housings in he didn't have the taillights to compensate for the lights. The openings are to close together.. It sucks 69 i agree but a rear bumper and some brackets and it should be OK. I had a set but sold them But it gives me another excuse to get some more powdercoating done once the truck is painted..

thanks
