In floor repair this is what I have to fix.
My questions Do i need to replace both rockers,inner,outer?
Or can I just give em a good solid cleaning and tac weld some metal, The inner rockers seam to be ok, its just where the welds were and the floor has been eatin.

If you want the truck to last at all cut out ALL rust/rot and weld in new metal. When you weld in the new metal prep and corrosion protection is key.

There are no welds in the area of the rot in the first picture. The inner rocker is part of the floor when the cabs are built at the factory. Pull the gasket out of the way and the mat etc. then you can make an accurate evaluation of the rust. If its not bad you could make a patch for that area. I have patched the same area on many trucks. If you are looking for long life I would say replace a larger section. If you are looking for a few years then patch it.

I could get a floor pan and just cut off what I need and weld in place, I don't have to cut the whole pan?

In theory yes you could cut down a pre mad patch, but I have never seen a floor patch that includes that area. The biggest ones I have seen only go back to right before the front seat bolt holes.

Yes, you only need to cut out what is really rusty and weld in place from a donor pan.
