Not sure how many of you are into 80s rock, but I grew up on it.

LAS VEGAS - Kevin Dubrow, lead singer for the 1980s heavy metal band Quiet Riot that scored a hit with "Cum on Feel the Noize," was found dead in a Las Vegas home. He was 52.

The cause was not immediately known.

A neighbour summoned police and paramedics Sunday to the house where Dubrow was pronounced dead, police and coroner's officials said.

There was no forced entry and no suspicious circumstances were reported, police officer Jose Montoya said Monday.

Quiet Riot was perhaps best known for its 1983 cover of "Cum on Feel the Noize." The song, featuring Dubrow's powerful, gravelly voice, appeared on the band's album "Metal Health" - which was the first by a metal band to reach No. 1 on the Billboard chart.

DuBrow recorded his first solo album in 2004, "In for the Kill," and the band's last studio CD, "Rehab," came out in October 2006.

"I can't even find words to say," Quiet Riot drummer Frank Banali wrote on his website. "Please respect my privacy as I mourn the passing and honour the memory of my dearest friend Kevin DuBrow."

Determination of the cause of death must await an autopsy and toxicology results, Clark County coroner's spokeswoman Samantha Charles said.

Such a young age, comparitively.  And the other news this morning was that of Sean Taylor of the Redskins being killed at his Miami home.  Such a tragedy. :(

Sean taylor i heard had a lot of problems in the past and definately at 24 its to young to go.But the bullet severed a artery in his leg so i am not a doctor i dont see how a leg wound could kill him unless his body somehow went into shock cause of the blood loss but a shame how he died  kevin died and a 28 year old oakland baseball pitcher recently died, I guess he collapsed around thanksgiving and never regained consious(however its spelled) was married and had 1 child and i guess another on the way, a total shame, but i guess if the man upstairs calls your number its your time.
thanks

Hunter found dead after being tangled in deer stand
By: Terri Richardson - Texarkana Gazette - Published: 11/14/2007

A Maumelle, Ark., man died Monday after becoming lodged in a climbing deer stand while hunting in Lafayette County.

Ray E. Ulmer, 44, was found dead by fellow hunters about 2:30 p.m. Ulmer went out to hunt at Walker Creek about 6 a.m. Monday.

“He was apparently going up the tree with a climbing deer stand, lost his balance and fell backwards,” said Lafayette County Sheriff Victor Rose.

Ulmer’s feet remained stuck in the deer stand, Rose said.

“He died from hanging upside-down for a long period of time,” said Rose. “Foul play is not suspected at this time.”

Ulmer’s body was taken to Smith Funeral Home in Stamps, Ark.

The accident is being investigated by Wildlife Officer Cpl. Todd Smith with the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission. Smith was unavailable for interview Tuesday.

“He had been hunting his whole life. When he moved to Little Rock, he found our lease on the computer and contacted us,” said Ann Martin, who is active with the Pickett Loop Hunting Club.

Ulmer had recently moved to Little Rock from Florida, finding the South Arkansas hunting club not long after moving, she said.
